Colorful New Years Eve EOTD
Happy New Year! For my first post of 2014 I wanted to share my eye makeup for New Year's Eve. Here's my look using shimmery, jeweled tones and metallic shades:
Steps to complete this look:
-apply Benefit Stay Don't Stray all over the eyelids to prime the eyes
-apply Mary Kay at Play Eye Crayon in the shade In the Navy all over the eyelids
-apply Milani Shadow Eyez in Winter White on the center of the eyelids
-use a fluffy crease brush to apply Sugarpill 2am eyeshadow to the crease
-use a pencil brush to apply Inglot Matte 325 eyeshadow (deep purple) to the outer corner of the eyelids
-apply Inglot 480 DS (shimmery blue) to the inner and outer part of the eye, avoiding the middle area
-apply Inglot Matte 328 (cream shade) to the brow bone and blend out Sugarpill's 2am eyeshadow
-place the metallic, shimmery silver from the Mary Kay at Play Ocean View Baked Eye Trio
-use a smudge brush to place Inglot 480 DS on the lower lash line
For eyeliner I smudged the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil eyeliner in Zero on the upper lash line and lower lash line. And finally, for mascara, I used Benefit They're Real.
I'm pretty happy with how this look turned out! Every year I usually go with very dark, smokey, glittery looks; so I tried to incorporate more bright colors and silver into this look. I hope you all enjoyed, and I'm wishing you all the best for 2014!
