Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream Review
This is a sample size, but the original comes in a squeeze tube as well. It comes in three shades: Linen, Natural, and Wheat. I have the shade Natural, and although I probably could have used Wheat instead, I was able to work with this product since it blends very well (I though 'Natural' was part of the name of the product and not the shade :S).
Here is a swatch of the product on my skin. It comes out as a gray color, and as you blend pigments are released to match your skin tone which I thought was pretty interesting. I have it blended in to the right of the swatch, and it blended into my skin very well. The product itself is sort of thick, but on the skin it feels very lightweight!
When I first applied this to my face I immediately noticed how silky smooth it made my skin feel. It felt as if I had used a primer and a moisturizer. On my skin it had a fairly matte finish.
This is a very light coverage product. And the shade selection is a little small, but it is very forgiving. Especially since I can make the middle shade work on my deeper skin!
I can get around 5-6 hours of wear before I notice fading when I wear this product, which is pretty average in comparison to my other BB and CC creams. It does not contain oil, so I think a lot of skin types would enjoy this. I like to set this with a powder to increase the longevity and prevent shine. Also, this product offer some sun protection, since it contains SPF 20.
Overall, this is a nice product because of it's comfortable feel, and even it claims to be anti-aging. Though, I can't really say if it's actually anti-aging because I haven't used it long enough and I don't really have issues with wrinkles. It also feels like I'm not wearing any makeup at all when I have this on! The only thing I would improve about this is the coverage because I do have BB/CC creams with slightly more coverage. If I purchase the full size of this product, it would probably be during the summer, since I use l lighter products like this a lot more in the summer time!

Nope, this is my first studio gear product, but I really want to try their matte foundation!
DeleteI have to be very careful with what I put on my skin. I get a rash very easily.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried this but everything says anti-aging these days it seems to be the new hype lol
